The Challenge
CMA Architects, a three-person firm led by principal Alfred Ravelo Lombana, RA NCARB, was running on Google Workspace. The Microsoft ecosystem integrates better with architecture software, and the other firms CMA works with across the construction industry run on Microsoft 365. Staying on Google Workspace meant working outside the platform the rest of the industry uses. The firm needed to make the switch without disrupting active projects.
What We Did
David migrated all three users from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 Business Standard. The 365 migration took less than one business day, with no downtime. As CMA moved its project files from Google Drive to Autodesk Construction Cloud (now Autodesk Forma), David advised the team and answered their questions along the way.
The Result
CMA Architects now works on the same Microsoft platform as its industry partners. Everything is easier to use and access, and the team can work across platforms. The project closed in May 2025 as a one-time engagement.
